About Me

As early as 2007 I started in the field of conflict resolution, and alternative dispute resolution. Over the last 15 years I’ve been involved with labor and employment disputes working with some of the largest labor unions and employers in the country. I’ve assisted in hundreds of cases, from the investigatory level, party representation in mediation & arbitration. The last five years before branching off on my own I was an arbitration panelist, who moonlighted as a mediator. I worked solely with arbitrators, mediators, and the representing parties. After going through my own divorce, and not being able to mediate with my spouse I decided to learn more about divorce mediation and the benefits that come with it. I’ve been fortunate to have trained with some of the most influential mediators, Forrest “Woody” Mosten, Susan Guthrie, and Steven Rosenberg. I’m also a certified batterers intervention facilitator, divorce specialist, and parenting instructor. In October of 2023 I will receive my certification as an anger management specialist. I find all of these additional certifications helpful in my role as a mediator because I’ve been trained to recognize if there’s domestic violence, parenting, and anger issue patterns that may affect how a mediation will play out. Domestic disputes are present in many marriages, and at times parents don’t always agree on how to raise their children. That said, having certifications in other areas regarding family dynamics is beneficial to my mediation services that allow me to navigate and understand parties on a different level.
